Visually it looks quite similar to a Lidl roll after you have cut it open, but it has a much nicer taste, slightly nutty. I tried one slice toasted with Pate, and my BG went from 4.5 before to be 4.8 after 2 hours. It is much more expensive than the Lidl thing, and you get 5 slices in a pack. Again like the Lidl roll you can't really consider it Bread, but it is a useful replacement for when you need to spread something. https://m.waitrose.com/worklight/ap...ews/TaxonomyCategoryView_3,ProductDetailsView

Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life. Trying to find low carb meals when eating out. Feb 1, 2016 #2 Just tried a bit this weekend with pate - it was very nice. Very moist, and more like an unusual cake than a bread in consistency. The carb level looks good.
