SD Codefree cable Help

hi all, new to on-line posts etc.. I'm type 2, bought myself a SD Codefree and buy my own stuff, after docs and nurses say I've no need to test. Right yeah! It's only way I keep myself in check and see what affects my body. Anyway, enough of my rambling. I can't seem to get my hands on a data cable for my meter and to be honest I can't afford or want to pay £20+. Can anyone help please. ta rob
 
Hi Rob I have tried several data cables from other meters and in the end had to admit defeat. Although I could get a jack that fitted the cables still weren't compatible. It appears that if you want a Codefree cable you will have to bite the bullet.

I like to have a paper record so I wasn't too bothered but I guess with the savings you can make buying the strips so cheaply the cable is only the equivalent of buying a couple of pots of the higher priced makes so you would still be winning in the longer term.
