I have recently been switched from the Dexcom G6 to G7. I am being pressed to start with the G7 (which isn't a problem), BUT I have a few G6 sensors, three G6 transmitters and a G6 receiver that will be surplus. The hospital don't want them back and told me to dispose of in the usual way.
This seems such a waste, so I want to 'sell' them for FOC plus postage.
But I am not allowed to sell prescribed stuff.
Should I send them.to landfill or break the law and dispose of them?
It's definitely a waste by the nhs @Platinum if you just throw them away, and anything like this makes me mad, especially when the nhs is in such a bad state. I'm glad our hospital diabetes team is more sensible.
The reason the nhs state this.. and will not take them back if that hygiene and contamination can not be confirmed when coming from a non official source
