Shift work and Lantus dose

Hey all I work a weekly morning and afternoon shift pattern 6am - 2.30pm and 2.30pm - 11pm. Even though I was only diagnosed last August Im able to keep my levels when I'm on my afternoon shift quite stable. I can go to bed with a bs around 6 - 8 and wake up with a bs around 5 - 8 then keep it under control through the day. My morning shift on the other hand I seem to get a morning rise of about 4mmol so if I go to bed with 7 ill wake up with 11 or 12. I take 14 units on Lantus currently, has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions?

Stu.
