Hi all,
I've been type 2 diabetic for over 15 years recently I've been in and out of hospital not been able to eat, nausea and vomiting.....this has gone on for 6 weeks now. In the beginning of my illness my blood sugar was ok but my ketones where high which is why I was admitted to hospital. The sickness won't stop and I'm still struggling to eat. Docs just keep giving me anti sickness. Has anyone else had this? Or any advice please? Thanks Jane
I'm on metocloprimide and cylazine (not sure if that's the correct spelling!) not I don't think they have. I've had cameras down, scans etc but can't find anything. They were blaming my meds so changed me to insulin but I'm still the same.
I am also on metoclopramide, which seems to help in my case. The only other time I had nausea and vomiting was before I was diagnosed with coeliac disease, but that only happened after I ate wheat, so not all the time.

Yes they tested me for that while I was in hospital. The only other thing I thought of was maybe lactose intolerance. Thank you for your help Robert. Just wish I could feel better soon and eat and drink.
