Thank you all for those words of encouragement. It really does help.
Did have one near disaster with this weight loss a couple months back. I piled on the weight about 5 years ago during a severe bout of depression and tried unsuccesfully to lose weight at the time and three years ago had to have my wedding ring cut off and enlarged. One day recently I parked my car about half a mile from my office, part of my new regime to make myself walk further as I used to park closer, began my walk to work and noticed no wedding ring. Retraced my steps, checked the footwell of the car and nothing. I drive approximately 30 miles to work and had put the rubbish out that morning, was I in a panic and upset thinking I would never see it again and without knowing where it had fallen off.
I telephoned my mother who lives fairly close to us and after a while during which I was cursing diabetes she telephoned me back to say she had found my ring in the paper recycling crate. Was I relieved.
As I am still losing weight steadily, until I plateau which undoubtedly I will sooner or later, not wearing it or getting it altered until I finish my weight loss as I could not bear to risk losing it again, but do miss not having it on at the moment.
