I'm not skier myself, but with the stop-start nature of it with bursts of high intensity interspersed with rest intervals, I'd liken it to a hill rep or running intervals session, which always provoke arise in my BG.
If you can test beforehand it would be a good idea, but I would have thought some kind oe basal rate increase, not bolus would be an idea.
Testing will let you understand how much and for how long without accidentally tipping yourself into hypo territory. Might be worth erring on the side of caution and running a little higher than normal, but not much more than 8 or so if you can manage that effectively.
