snacks ??

Hi there

I am new to al of this having just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes - I will be seeing a specialist next week so am hoping to get lots of information then.... I think I am getting my head around the types of food I should be eating (I guess I wont know fully until I start testing & see what I can cope with)

Anyway back to my question.. I am just wondering what people have for their snacks in between meals? I am guessing it'll be things like nuts/seeds & raw veggies - any other ideas & also what is considered a 'snack' size?

Many thanks

Hi

I snack on nuts but try to limit it as I am also trying to lose weight.
I love chocolate and Aldi sell Moser Roth 85% cocoa chocolate bars. There are 5 bars in a packet and each bar only has 5.3g carbs. (99p for the packet of 5.) I allow myself one bar per night.
If I feel peckish I have wheaten crackers from Aldi's (2.7g carbs each) with a little cheese or philly.

I am interested to see other replies as I find it hard to give up snacking and would like more ideas.
