Hi carb Foods
Well winter is finally here!
Wife just phoned to sing "Convoy" (remember that song!) she say that she is in a convoy on the hill road from Rawtenstall to Burnley! She says that some of the roadside sheep look like Christmas logs!

Rawtenstall to Burnley!
We're obviously in the same area - I'm at the south end of Rossendale. We had quite a covering of snow here an hour ago, but it's turned to very wet snow now and the lying stuff will soon be gone.

Yes, we have got some big fat wet flakes falling at the moment.
Poor cherry blossom.

Not settling, because the ground is so wet, and we don't ever get much snow - but if it has reached us, then the rest of you will be getting it much worse.

Lots of snow here in east Lancashire. Can't get into work yet so had a lovely walk with the dog instead

No snow in East Anglia. The patio door is open and the dogs are sunbathing.

Nothing for me in Hertfordshire but then we only seem to have three seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn

Hi Hannah3003, I am in Lancashire and snowing heavily here has been all morning love your dog I have two like that.

Upate from my daughter, heading for her nursing/midwifery volunteering @ Burnley: "the gritters are cinnamon dusting the snow!"

I must admit I wish we could have a little bit of snow down here, a picture postcard look We have had frost, rain, winds, sleet, thunder and lightening and that was on Wednesday morning

Here in the Midlands we had a few snow showers but nothing stuck. We rarely get snow here that could start a conversation
