Funny pancreas strikes again! Went out for lunch today, had nachos (not many) then had an all day English breakfast. Of the carby stuff I ate half of the beans, the whole slice of brown toast and a handful of the chips..... Tested 2 hours later... 4.7 mmol!! No idea what's going on here.... Perhaps I need to move to a hot country and I will be cured!!

Diagnosed with GD in 2010, Completely disappeared postpartum. Re-diagnosed December 2012 with type 1.5 diabetes, age 26, BMI 23 currently controlled by only Metformin, 500mg twice a day.

Elaine a couple of biscuits or 4 Carrs melts crackers as I go to bed helps reduce the morning levels or a natural yogurt with some nuts or seeds

Diagnosed Type II 1998 1 x 80 mg Gliclazide, 4 x 500mg Metformin and 1 x 100mg Sitagliptin - HbA1c - 48 mmol/mol

Elaine we're so similar!

When I slept on a (unusual) 4.8 I woke up at 8, when I went to bed reading 'Low' I woke up nearing 20 @_@

We've been following eachother's posts for a while and we do sound quite similar..

I hope the water biscuits work for you or you figure out the patterns.. I'm going to try it myself next time and report back

Love you, cheesecake x
