Diabetes guard is an app that someone I know found and is very good she also had a fear of hypos you set it up on ur smartphone to send a message to someone if you need help you can press the alert button it will go through a list of up to 10 people who you set up until someone responds you can also set it with your alarm for overnight if you don't respond to your alarm in 5 mins it does the same thing I have posted the link to it

She finds it gives her a bit of confidence she has a 4 yr old in the house who knows how to use it also

I have been diabetic from when i was one year old and I'm now 46. If your background insulin is possibly too high at night try reducing it by 2 units at a time. As i eat late i find my sugar can be high before i go to bed but now i don't correct it as if i do it will be low in the morning. I have led a very normal life and if you like would enjoy having a chat with you. I'm like an encyclopedia on diabetes and doing the impossible.
