On low carb for 4 days now. Still levels 14.5 first thing . Ate boiled egg, tomato breakfast still 14.5 two hours after. Had 3 slices chicken, cucumber, olives red cabbage , Small mayo for lunch. Two hours after 18.5 feeling unwell. I have bad pains in foot ankle toe so worried that neuropathy took hold. How long did low carb start to lower levels for others. Thanks

Sorry you seem to have had a long wait for a response. @ebbielou . I can't answer your question, as I don't remember ever having readings that high myself. Hopefully someone else will have coped with similar. Are you newly diagnosed and new to the medication?
Edited by Pipp, for clarity of my question.
How long have you been diagnosed as Type 2? If you are taking that cocktail of meds and still getting very high readings I might go back to the docs and get them to check.
