Question 1) No, it happens to me all the time.
Question 2) I fill one every 4-6 weeks, i do not use as many lancets as you.
Question 3) Glocagon is used when you become unconscious through a rapid drop in your blood glucose (hypo, can be below 2.0mmol/lt, or higher in some people) It is not designed to be used to give your blood a quick boost just when you get a little low, use a glucose tablet or something sweeter for that.
Train someone you live or work with, to administer the injection, best place is top of your leg. Look in the kit (small orange box) for full instructions on usage.
just a side note. before you become unconscious, tell people who know you are type 1, not to try to give you anything sweet (glucose tablet etc) orally, as this could cause you to choke, only use the glocagon kit for this.
Question 4) I have no idea if this is caused by diabetes.
