soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I spent a futile half morning trying to sort out some bits for my new kitchen at B&Q. the fact that I failed was not down to the staff, who were wonderfully hepful, but things were not in stock.
I succumbed to weakness whilst I was there and bought 2 Phalaenopsis orchids for the price of one. I already have several in my bathroom. What my daughter calls my jungle.
Then I thought >some people buy chocolate< this will not affec my BG and I chose the ones with the most buds.

1 orchid is purest white and the other white and that pinky colour they call "orchid pink"

A single phalaenopsis only needs a window sill, but preferably not south facing. I have cupboard units in my bathroom and the orchids live in one corner.

I have a son-in-law who is a plumber and the most beautiful bathroom .It's not ultramodern, but is gorgeous. I have cuboards all along one 10foot wall and the basin set in.I also have a crazy, but lovely deep red floor. goes with palest pink tiled walls and white suite and cupboards. No wonder orchids look great in there.

My house is a pre-war semi and the rooms are decent sizes. my living room was extended 5 years ago and now measure 24 x 14 feet. the kitchen was small, but we decided years ago that a south facing pantry wasn't aa lot of use and knocked down the walls and also incorporated the storm porch entry , thus adding about 3 more square yards. i also have my study, which is the original dining room.
I'll wear off a few calories tomorrow. I'm starting turning out the study. I have many books which are out-off-date and no longer very useful
