I was wondering if anyone else reading this forum has experienced sore throats that do not respond to any type of home remedy? The duration of my sore throats can be up to four weeks off and on. Sometimes they are severe but often not and recently I developed spots near my tonsils that look infected. After two visits to Practice nurse finally got her to send off throat swab as I am concerned about bacterial infection. Any thoughts?
