Just wondering if anyone has any views as to whether it's OK for diabetics? I know it has a small amount of honey (to moisten the bread).
Also been reading the topic on heat now I know why I've gone up to 10-11 from 7.
I wouldn't have thought spelt would be any better than any other form of wheat.I had a go at eating spelt museli once - won't be trying that again :shock: Seriously, no form of wheat is going to be good. You could try Burgen soya and linseed bread - it has 11g carb per slice as opposed to about 14g for most other bread. On a good day it spikes me less, but it still spikes me. Sorry.
