I usually Google for the carbs. There do seem to be some in some spices - especially fresh ones like ginger root - but if you're not eating much of them I doubt it would make a big difference.
thanks for the repies, but this seems to be focussing on bg levels, im more interested in carb content, im aware of the health benefits, but am doing lchf so need to concentrate on the actual carbs, as opposed to the bg level.

as I mentioned above ginger is actually good in the long term for controlling your blood sugar levels so should actually be added to diet not avoided.
You misunderstood me. I didn't say avoid ginger I just said it may contain some carbs. I don't avoid all carbs, but I do count them.
