OK, will someone spill the beans and explain how you do these spread sheets to show how your readings are :? . I'm sort of ish on a computer but i work in a school and i could always ask some one to help me from the ICT department if i know how to start it off from the basics :? .
Hi,
Have you tried ACCU-CHEK Compass? It's free software (designed for their products, but I suspect you can use the manual function for other makes). This records in diary form your blood glucose levels with graphs and other functions.
It works with Vista - but some of the functionality is lost. Better on XP.
Good luck
Otherwise, I don't know if it is what you're looking for, but have you tried using Diabetes.co.uk's own online: myLifestyle? It's only in Beta version but may do what you want?
Mine is basic, just has loads of columns but has carbs in as well if you pm me your email I will happily save a blank copy for you and send it over to you. you will then have a few to play with. It doesn't do graphs etc but if you played with it you could.
I tend to print out a blank for the month which I fill in manually rather than the book and then I update it on my pc when I have time.
Thanks for all the replies, i've got the "optimum exceed" meter sarahQ. I might try what you said and ring the company and i'll also contact you TROUBR for the graph you use as well
I have a cable for my daughters Exceed and the program, it does everything you could wish for.
When you phone up the company ask for a USB cable as they sent me one with a serial port on and I could not get it to work. After phoning the cable arrived the next day. I have phoned them 3 or 4 times now and they have been the most helpful company I have ever phoned.
I have a spread sheet I was using for a while. In the end it drives you crazy as you're trying to find sugar/bolus sugar/basal sugar/time patterns that often just aren't visible.
