Hi, ive been taking the background insulin.
If i stopped would my blood glucose rocket?
I got told i was type 1.
I have no symptoms.
I eat 500g+ of suger a day (or i did)
Ive cut it all out now. My bloods gone down from high 20s to 5.5.
The readings are dropping everyday.
As i understand type 1, the body makes no insulin of its owm.
And that the back ground insulin only last 10hrs.
So what keeps lowering my BG after its worn off?
