Today I had an exam. I woke up at 6.30am with a sugar of about 7 on my finger prick.

My exam was 9.30, I hadn't eaten breakfast and my sugar was up to about 13 ... I think the spike on the graph on my cgm is quite impressive!

Proves how many things that we can't control affect us!

Just reading about stress induced cortisol and bg. There's no chance for me, then. I am one of life's great worriers. Hope the exam went well, fingers crossed.

Stress can make your BGL drop or raise I know cos I too am a worrier

Stress sends me so high and insulin resistance is bad too. It seems to be worry that's worst but also adrenaline when I'm nervous.
