I am having a rough time with levimere. It never seems to do anything. I stopped taking it for a whole week once, and my fasting blood sugars were the same as when I was taking it. I’ve tried increasing the dose from 28 to 34, with still the same results. The only thing I’ve noticed that does work is the novorapid. I had never heard of 1.5 either before, I thought it was something my diabetes educator made up, till I did a search on it, which led me to this site. From what I have read and understand, it’s a late and slow onset of type 1 in adults, with similar symptoms to type 2 at the beginning, but eventually the body will completely stop producing insulin and you end up with type 1. There is no real cure or ways to reverse it like in some type 2, you just have to learn to manage it and keep it under control
