Struggling to manage FBG

T2 - meds
Metformin ST 2x1000mg
Empagfiflozin 25mg
Gliclazide 2x30mg

FBG rarely below 10

Drastically changed diet, removed all treats, cakes, biscuits kept Sugar intake to 30g/day

Been a month now, FBG. 5-6 YES!
Lost half stone.
Hlc down from 65 to 44

Drs Called me last week to say stop taking Gliclazide, FBG now 8-9

I suggested to Drs to go back on Gliclazide but informed I’m at risk of hypo.
