The needle was still on the pen; the actual cap of the needle was stuck in the pen top. It was like vaccumed in there. I used the dental pick and it poked a hole in the cap and was able to pull it out! Just glad I've not had to discard the entire pen! PHEW! All back to normal again.Hi,
How far down the pen cap is the needle stuck? (Approx.)
Yes it is a disposable pen. Thought I was going to have to ditch the entire thing! Is it a disposable pen ?
The lilli pens from memory do taper at the cap like a bullet? The needle was still on the pen; the actual cap of the needle was stuck in the pen top. It was like vaccumed in there. With a disposable pen, if you lose the pen cap, simply get a pen cap from the next pen in the fridge and use that.Yes it is a disposable pen. Thought I was going to have to ditch the entire thing!
I don't reuse the needle discard it after use. With a disposable pen, if you lose the pen cap, simply get a pen cap from the next pen in the fridge and use that.
Do you reuse your needle?
Many do, but it's recommended you don't, they're designed for single time use. I keep some pen needles with my pen and screw a needle on before injecting, and I take it off to discard right after.
How did the needle cap end up in the pen cap?I don't reuse the needle discard it after use.
