Many moons ago a herbalist friend of mine told me to put a teaspoon of sugar on a saucer for the number of spoons I put in every cup of tea that I. drank in a day ,it was an amazing amount! I cut down by 1/2 a spoon a week and now I can't stand the stuff I can even taste if my tea has been stirred with a spoon that has stirred a sugary drink

I haven't had sugar in tea for about 40 years now, a teenage 'diet thing' ( friends and I decided to cut something out and I cut sugar in tea) and not diabetic. Couldn't stand even a grain of sugar in tea now
