Hello

Please feel free to post any saving tips for Christmas time. It could be money, decorations, shopping, or even some tips for coping with the relatives

On a Friday I do a large shop at the supermarket and today I handed over just £9.52 that's because I started buying saving stamps at Morrisons throughout the year and my bill today was £59. 52 so I used my savings card and with the £50 I saved I'm buying my grandson a Furby for Christmas ( he would like a yellow or an orange one and I've seen them in Toys r us) Just buying one or two stamps a week soon adds up

That's what we do, start buying saving stamps in the New Year and come Christmas all food and some presents are paid for

I also save my clubcard vouchers till December, it does help bring the cost down considerably. I am also a secret shopper now and again where they pay the first £25 and delivery for a shop. I've just done a online secret shop for a big supermarket and brought quite a few bits for Christmas and in effect got them all for free, so that's saved me even more!
