Is this going to send me screaming back to vegetarianism? Hope not low carb vegetarian seems realy difficult to me.Next weeks programme, Thursday 14th, channel 5 @ 8pm, is lifting the lid on supermarket meat, revealing what's in a budget sausage and the conditions in which cheap, and pricier organic, chickens are raised !
It'll just drive you to a butcher, and in France, that should be pretty straightforward, I'd think. Is this going to send me screaming back to vegetarianism? Hope not low carb vegetarian seems realy difficult to me.
If we ever get there.... house sale appears to have stalled again. Although Mr Slim is currently in france and starting on some fairly major renovation work. Butcher hmmm, lets see, so far as I know that would be a 20 minute drive to the nearest. Unless we discover one closer. Sometimes the rural idyll is not so ideal.
Small Supermarket is a ten minute drive, maybe we should check out its small town for butchers. There are good boulangeries there. Will ask Mr Slim. He will ofc be delighted to add to his jobs list.

Its not going to be easy viewing.View it, decide, then say, no way joseI bet it will be another eyeopener
Not quite so scary as it might have been, they focussed on sausages and chicken, although the idea that we are trusting the supermarkets to test their own products and give honest report to consumers is mind boggling. Its not going to be easy viewing. That much at least is certain.
