I’ve been a Type 1 for 53 years and this week I received a message from my GP surgery that there is a supply problem (temporary) with novorapid pens I don’t remember ever getting a similar message in all those 53 years should I be concerned?

It doesn't sound great. I use that pen. So far no problem, but there is a supply shortage with some meds. I would think there might be a substitute if push comes to shove, but not certain.
Is that a problem with pre-filled pens?
If so, can you take this opportunity to move to the more robust reusable NovoPens?
I vaguely remember an issue with NovoRapid cartridges some time earlier this year.
The other thing is to check with another pharmacy. The supply problem may be limited to a single pharmacy issue maybe making excuses for not putting in their order.
