Surgery and BG level

Hi,I have recently become a T2 but last year I had a hysterectomy which involved giving several blood samples.Nobody said anything at that time so does that mean I was not diabetic then,does anyone know?

Your bloods would have been checked for blood glucose levels prior to surgery..
 
Thanks for that,I assume that I was not diabetic last year,which is good,I guess.
