Hi all,

I developed Acanthosis Nigricans on my thighs. I am not particularly obese (BMI = 26) but I do have a decent amount of fat on my waist. My blood work shows normal fasting and postprandial sugar levels.

I am just 25 years old. I haven't met the doctor yet to discuss the skin condition (too embarrassed to visit). Hope I can find something useful on the forum.

Welcome, I suggest you see the doctor. They have seen all kinds of things and this would just be another patient with a skin condition, to them. We can't help with something like this as we are not qualified. This condition is sometimes caused by things other than diabetes or obesity. In rare cases it can be very serious, so you really need to see the doctor.

I will get an appointment right away. Thanks.
