Hi there I am
A type one diabetic and am using novo rapid and lantus, I have been diabetic since I was 9 (about 10 years) and have been injecting my legs too much and not rotating my injection sights regularly enough in the past which has given me swollen lumps, I have stopped using these sights as it is a bit tender and I don't want any permanent damage, I was wondering if anyone knows how to reduce the size of these lumps/ get my legs back to normal size please?

Inject into your arms for awhile.

Yes I am doing and have been for a while, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to reduce the swelling in my legs? Thanks

I think the lumps go after awhile when you change sites. Shoukd get a few more replies/advice from others on here

Yes the lumps do go normally takes 12 weeks to go down to normal as we are diabetics and have a longer recovery time.when injecting it is essential to rotate your injection sights as the tissue under the skin will store fat from the injections.
