Synexus - Anybody had experience?

Have received a letter inviting me to join in a clinical trial for Type 2 patients. Has anyone experience of working with that organisation, and what was their experience? Have tentatively agreed to visit the Midlands Clinic, but am just wondering if I'm rushing into something at the age of 80, which is not to my benefit?

I have not heard of this organisation but after googling I have now registered my details. I have taken part in a couple of research projects which have only involved talking to researchers and answering their questions. It hasn't necessarily benefited me although it's fascinating to hear what researchers are thinking and looking into, but hopefully my involvement may help someone else.
