Hey,
Have any T1Ds had vision correction surgery / laser eye?
My eye sight is terrible and I’m fed up with wearing glasses. I’ve had T1D for 10 years, and I do have some background retinotherapy.
From what I’ve read, diabetes shouldn’t stop or restrict you from having eye surgery, although healing may take longer.
I have a consultation coming up, but just wanted to see if anyone had any first hand experience and if so, would you recommend?
