I have seen this subject covered on here before, nothing wrong with my memory

The reason I bring it up was an article on here the other day about Coffee/Caffeine and its effect on certain areas of the brain in preventing memory loss for T2's. I tried a Massimo Americano Coffee at work this morning and whilst it worked in making me a wide awake and probably a pita  , I wonder if its that effect which makes people alert rather than any thing else :?:

Is the T2 memory loss for real ? or is it just that our condition can makes us lethargic at times and the fact that many of us T2's are late middle-aged ... I'd like to canvass opinion on here as to whether T2 memory loss is for real :?:

HI and welcome,
Us diabetics can have memory problems, but diabetes can also cause us to have depression.
I read quickly but hypo (low blood sugar) or hyper (high sugar levels) can cause short term memory loss. Our memories need nutrition such as glucose.
if you type in to your search engine diabetes and memory loss you will find alot of info on the subject.
I am no expert so please read it up or consult with your GP if your worried.
Take care
Tracey
