T2D? Update, I Guess.

Hiya Everybody!

I haven't post anything since february
because I was waiting on attending a
few other appointments that regards,
my diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes and
other physical / mental health issues
as well....

I don't know what to do, my doctor is a
100% sure, I am a type 2 diabetic but I
know the test results don't add up and
now, another doctor is blaming me for
making it up, they said "that's because
of your mental health, you are not type
2 diabetic, just mentally ill." like what?

I feel so miserable but my doctor isn't
much help, I told them that the tablets
aren't working for me....

they suggested that if having bad side
effects but stop taking the tablets and
talk about it with them (what we could
do) at the next appointment then I will
do that but they tell me keep on taking
the tablets, try taking one tablet and if
possible, try taking two tablets but as
soon as I take one, the next day or so,
guess who's back? the side effects, in
the same cycle, I go but it never stops.

I am at a loss....tried not to cry whilst
writing this out but couldn't, I feel my
health, both physical and mental, will
slip away soon and I want to live, but
those bad thoughts are always in the
back of my mind, just waiting for me.

it hasn't been great at all but no, I don't
mind you asking these questions at all.

I was diagnosed on base of having a
high blood sugar of 7.3 and 7.2 from
two separate blood test that include,
me to fast beforehand in January.

Yes, I was and still struggling with the
tablets but no helps, I have asked my
doctor and they keep telling me that it
better for me to be on the tablet form.

I am already changing my diet but no,
my doctor wants me to stay on these
tablets.

i know what you mean and that would
be nice but seems like my doctor isn't
helping me with that at all.

I am taking the Metformin XR (500mg).

they were regular blood tests and not
specifically "to check if I am had it or
not" because at the same time, I was
having another health problem arise.

my health records are online so any of
the health professional can see it with
or without, original doctor's consent.

I am on the slow releasing tablets of
Metformin XR, my doctor wants me,
to stay on this tablets.

I am already making changes to both
my diet, such as eating more healthy
and cutting down on things I used to
eat or drink a lot of but also lifestyle,
such as exercising and selfcare days
as well.

I don't know, if this will help you both
but I found a comment was made by
my doctor and this was in January.

if this goes against any rules in here
then I'll remove it, straight away too.

i know what you mean by that but not
at all, didn't find out what reading the
"normal" HbA1c.

feels like my doctor doesn't want me
to challenge them on that but I'll ask
if they can test my HbA1c again.

Yes, I do....my blood sugars do usually
stay between 4.0 to 9.0 for me, it may
depend upon what I am up to through
the day but never gone lower than a 4
and never gone higher than a 9, hope
