i guess its easier for me to post this on a diabetes forum where some people may relate to this and nobody knows me on here.

it's an embarrassing subject (for me anyway) but i guess i really need help with it before its too late.

ive been in a relationship for the last 5 years, the last year has been stressful and mainly due to me not being able to "perform" (if you know what i mean) i believe it is putting a strain on the relationship with my good lady and I'm at my witts end.

the issue i have is ED or erectly disfunction, i've read a bit into into and i know that by having type 2 diabetes this can have a major impact, I'm now on low carb high fat diet and I've now lost just under a stone in a month, now under 18 stone which is the lightest I've been in at least 8 years!

i spoke to my doctor about this and I've been given sildenafil (50mg) however i don't think its having much of an impact, i'm wanting to know if anyone else has experienced issues with ED and if so what medication etc you have been given, I'm really quite low at the moment and I've read about testosterone a level as well possibly being low as I've kind of lost the "drive" element as well.

if people have experienced this and have been given successful medication etc please let me know, if you find it easier to PM me than reply i'd appreciate that.

thanks in advance

Craig

Hi Craig
If you put "erectile dysfunction" into the search box at the top of this page you'll see there are quite a few threads discussing the problem already. Have a read through those. I can't help from personal experience but knowing the wealth of knowledge on this forum someone will be along soon. Hope you find a speedy solution.
All the best

Perhaps you should ask for Cailis dailys. They build up slowly in your system. It's also helps not to panic to much about it.You still need stimulation and it's not a magic on switch.Viagra gave me terrible headaches and I felt bunged up all the time. The Cialis on the other hand I have no major side effect.

You can ask your doctor as well for other prescription. Tell him the effect of sildenafil on you and that you'd like to try another kind of med. Of course, it is okay to take on suggestions. However, some meds may have been effective on others and not on you, or it may have been effective on you but not on others. So it's just finding the right med that fits you. Never just venture on what you've seen on reviews/forums but ask for the doctor's opinion on them as well. Stay safe.

Good luck on your search!
