Phoenix, it is difficult to give a accurate dose for take-away food, when I do eat a chinese I always order from the same take-away and order the same meal (chicken and mushroom curry with fried rice) and from past experience I now know how many units to inject for that meal. The dishes come in the same size container each time so this makes it easier to calculate, I always give a split dose of insulin to cover the meal and usually get very good results.
