No question is a silly one

It doesn't matter how close together you take your Lantus and bolus insulin, as they work differently. The long acting takes about two hours to kick in, lasts between 12 and 24 hoursand the bolus ( Apidra) starts to work in 15 mins or so and is usually out of your system in around 4-5 hours. they don't really impact on each other.

I always use Novorapid at the same time as my Levemir in the morning, because that's when it's convenient

Everything Heathenlass has said above, but just be sure to inject in different sites when you take both insulins.

Be sure to rotate your injection sites as well. Using exactly the same place constantly causes something called lipodystrophy. This is not dangerous, but it stops insulin being absorbed properly when injected into that area. That's not to say you can't constantly use your leg or stomach, just make sure to use different areas of them. You may already be doing this, but I thought it would be best to give you a heads up just in case.
