Quick question. Looking over my latest results I noticed that the term 'Abnormal Expected' was used. My question is:
Does this indicate the pre test expectation of abnormal or the post test vindication (for want of a better word).

TIA

I would quess it means outside of the 'normal' reference range but due to a known issue ( eg medication side effect, feature of a know condition, pre existing high / low results known to be ok for you etc)
At one time I had a massive adverse reaction to an antibiotic which produce " deranged" blood results for a couple of months until everything settled - I think abnormal but expected appeared for a while on the blood test result forms ( although the docs just told ne they were either "deranged" or "very deranged " results
