Hi Gezzabelle !
You were such a great help to me when I came in and your suggestions to me were the HFLC diet and loads of hope. I just did as you said and my hba1c dropped from an initial 109 down to 42 in three months , I just eat the right things , some weight lifting and dog walks plus metformin . Now working on reducing stress where ever possible , work , Wife etc etc , you will get on the right path for sure , just look for the right one .

Oh Love, I am so sorry to hear this!
If you don't hear back with a date for the specialist, make sure you chase it up. Sometimes these things grind to a halt and need a bit of a push.
Feeling okay thank you...only problem I have is a total lack of appetite....finding it hard to eat much of anything....oh and a very sore tongue lol. It's just wait and see time now...tests a week tomorrow then see what they show up. The doctor has ordered quite a few tests so will take it from there when the results come back
