This may be a stupid question but how do most people know all there test results, i never get told anything, maybe my own fault for not asking, even if i did i would forget all those figures befor i get home. can you get copies of your results if you ask for them? Just asking as im trying to get more involved after two years of bad results.
Your GP will get copies of the test results and will photocopy them for you if you ask nicely. I've got the last 12 years stashed away because I'm a sad anal retentive with nothing better to do on a Friday night than post on a diabetes forum. My wife's words, not mine. :lol:

Legally your doctor is permitted to refuse to give them to you.
If he does that find a new doctor. Many will print them out and even go back through your notes and dig out old numbers. You are also legally entitled to ask to read your medical notes or get copies of them, they are legally entitled to charge for the copies though, as well as refusing your request.
