Peppers , Spiders, War and people who think they are better than me, we are all equal !
I use an Accu-Chek Compact Plus (Blood Monitoring meter)

I sometimes have spare Lancets and Test trips left over from my monthly prescription. If anyone is struggling to get hold of these items for whatever reason i would be happy to mail them to you every now and again.

If anyone else has monitoring equipment they no longer need or require perhaps it would be good to offer it here

Happy Testing

Hi Chez
Here's something i've done in the past, equipement, old testing monitors /insulin changed, i've given to a local woman who sends it out to Romania/Africa to orphanages, poor little mites have nothing and those with diabetes often are left untreated, so i send them stuff Andrew no longer needs as well as out grown clothes and i knit baby blankets to keep them warm. I know some people struggle to get test strips ect but at least there available, the orphanes don't have anyway of getting them full stop. So if no one asks for yours may i suggest you find a local charity who may be able to help pass them on for you.

I'll do the same here - I use the One Touch Ultra Smart - so I assume that all the One Touch Strips and Lancets will be compatible - if anybody is in need of a few to tide them over, let me know and i'll send a few out - lets hope I dont get a deluge of enquiries now
