Hi everyone. I have been lurking since I was diagnosed T2 in January. Just want to say I do not know how I would have Survived without the knowledge and help offered here. Thanks everybody..
 
Hello Nuthead. Is this your first post.? I'm glad you like the website, it's great isn't it. How are you getting on with your diabetes?

Hello. Second post. WOW!!. Getting on ok thanks. Bouncing around 5 to 7.5 ish for bg, so not to bad. Still finding foods I'm ok with. The powers that be don't tell the whole story do they !!. Lucky for me I ended up here in my first week. Brilliant info and support. Nice....
 
Lol yes @Nuthead i was the same as you iwas lucky I found the site and I had been reading on here for a week to 10 days before I spoke to a DN at all. Then when I did she said the opposite! Lol I think the site and the people are wonderful

My DN agrees with everything I say. Not worked out yet if I'm good at this diabetes lark or she just likes a quiet life ??
 
Lol lol my conversation was very friendly. DN and I got on well but the conversation was like parallel lines lol
 
My DN did suggest that I could only test three times a day. I pointed out that I was on insulin and I eat to my meter. So now I get 'ok' 'sure' type replys

You probably know us all quite well by now. Warts and all.

Keep posting, it gets almost as addictive as carbs.
