I would just like to say a big thank you to the forum for the information on carbohydrates. After a bad start due to my first post I am glad that I stayed.
1 was 13stone 3 when I first came on here and today I am 12stone 12. Understanding carbs better has been a great help.I have even got my bike out and do a run at 0630 in the morning, the poor dog is fitter too , as she runs along side me.
I would recommend to those of you who do not check your blood on a regular basis to start now, especially if you can download the results on to your computer. Seeing my level stay in the green shade brings a big smile to my face
I now have a hbac of 6.0 according to my meter since the beginning of March.
So will you be cycling out this far, weepete,it's only 35 miles! Dog might end up a dachshund though  Excellent weight loss keep it up and glad you stayed.
Depending on your type of tester you can get a USB cable and download.Check if your tester has a website and if you can download a programme from it onto your computer. From there you can download(or is it upload!) from your tester and the programme works it all out in graphs charts etc.
