Well I got so cold at work today. The heating hadn't been on in the rather large house I work at. Put it on high as soon as I got in but just couldn't get warmed up. I left this evening in the pouring rain and it seemed to take forever to get home. When I finally did, my heating is on and house is warm but I just cannot get warmed up. My hands and feet feel like I've got frostbite (ok bit of an exaggeration there) but even my teeth hurt. Never had that before when I'm cold. Is this how I'm going to feel in the winter now? It's gonna be a long ole winter if it is.... Hibernation seems a good idea.

I'm freezing.
Oh, to be a seal again, with all that blubber.......

Haha... someone said to me this evening it's because I've lost so much weight. Compliment was nice but it didn't make me feel much better. Mind you I did get a shifty on up a steep hill and 140 steps without stopping so will do my bg good

I was out today.
Tog24 down and feather jacket, micro fleece, thinsulate gloves
two years ago I was fine in a T shirt!

Oh how I miss my lost blubber too - and I've only missing part of it yet! I'm freezing - my husband can a real miser with the heat now we're older, and so I spent most of this afternoon curled up fully dressed n my bed hibernating (AKA having a rather long afternoon nap).

Mind you I managed to spend a large part of the very hot weather this summer with icy cold hands and feet, but they're not that bad at the moment - it's the rest of me that's cold to my bones.

My father was in the army and when I was a little girl in the 1940s we spent several years in northern Germany. The army quarters had central heating and double windows, and we were cosy even in the bitterly cold winters - compared to our own cold damp seaside home in England. I swore when I was a grown up I'd have a house with central heating and always be warm, but now when i need it most ...

I've found a nice indoor down jacket online and am about to treat myself - then I can have some lovely insulating feathers to replace my blubber. And probably look like Michelin Man again.

Its my first winter since diagnosis and I cant wait for it to get over. I am feeling so cold that i feel numb in my hands and feet i will get some thermal socks this weekend or any suggestions please. I have to wear formal clothes so have leather shoes on which does not really help.

Poor circulation in my right hand caused by ex tumour pressing on bits in neck (waiting an age for appointment) forces me to cuddle two Zippo hand warmers. I have to ask Mrs Nuthead if it's hot or cold because blood and other bits still recovering from chemotherapy. Basically my temp control internal thermostat thingy is shot to Bo#@/ks !!. . Was shivering even on the hottest days and could overheat anytime. Hay ho

Much the same as you Brettsza. Think I will be out buying thermal long johns, vests, gloves, socks and I'm sure I saw thermal tights the other day. Anything to feel warm again. Furry warm boots on way to work then change them when I get there. I Think the leather boots today is reason why my feet were so cold even though I had thick socks on with them. I can't be doing with getting this cold again that's for sure.

UGG boots are very warm.
Im not sure why everyone is so cold,I went swimming today and the pool was warm,my house is warm.Im thin but always have been,so perhaps Im used to it.

My feet did not get warm all day yesterday so i will start doing the same go in some sort of wooly boots with thermal socks. I felt as if i would get a frost bite and i could really do without it
