Prediabetes the importance of exercise

Hi I am new to this (October 2013). I gave up sugar and lost 20 lbs weight in the 6 months but what I want to share with you is that in the last 2 weeks I started to seriously chart my sugar levels and see what affected it and when. I added in exercise (running up and down a hill and getting puffed out) and my sugar levels plummeted from 7.7 to 3.6 on one occasion! So although my doctor told me to exercise I never realised the massive importance of it, certainly for me. In fact this running (only 10 minutes) dropped it more than my low carb diet. I may only be telling you what you already know but I am astounded a bit of running could do for my body and thought I would share this with you all. Love Maria and new to this1
