Not been in a good place for a couple of months so let things and myself go. Had bloods done last week HbA1c 82, weight 157kg Bs 16.6. So time to get things sorted!!
Started LCHF diet yesterday (been on it before and did well) Cutting down on alcohol and increasing the walking. I have my diabetes MOT in three months so have been give that time to sort things or else!!
This forum is great for advice and motivation so wish me luck. Will keep you informed of progress.

Actually it is not true that if you are type 2 you do not have insulin. I was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago and metformin did not help so I was put on insulin 2 years ago and the result of that plus low carb means my blood sugars are now very well controlled. I also have 2 friends with type 2 diabetes who also control it with insulin.
