What do you think of the new update Librelink?

I changed my sensor last Friday evening. My first impression was positive, as the increased font size was better (I am partially sighted, due to T1D). Looking closer, I found the TIR 24hr percentage had gone and the graph was now 8hrs. I found the TIR really helpful as a quick guide, and losing it has been upsetting as I've finally begun to get some good control.

Yesterday I spoke to Abbott's customer service department, and they were very clear in saying that this change would stay in place.

I guess we have to make do with the TIR report.

Do you think Abbott consulted with patients before making these alterations?

I don’t like the 8 hour graph, much prefer to see 24 hours.

but I use a third party app (Xdrip4ios)alongside librelink and much prefer their interface
 
Surely you both know about Libreview? Much more detail. I'm on Android with no sign of an update. However I use Juggluco which is a hundred times better than the stock app. Also I get readings to my watch too.

Yes, libreview is good for detailed reports. But not for daily views.
 
I constantly look on there. The monthly section gives daily avg. This changes everytime you scan/have a reading.

Is that on Android? I searched for it in the Google Play store but nothing came up.
 
This might have been covered elsewhere but if you start a sensor on a FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, it has the old display when you connect that same sensor to your phone. The 24-hour time in range comes back.

That's fascinating. How else does it behave? Does it revert to 'scan for latest" or continuous dispaly?
 
The Libre app takes your sugars 24 hours a day now as it used to be every 15 minutes and it doesn't matter where you are even if you are asleep because it takes it during the night as I know because it's woken me up saying that I'm having a hypo but I'm fine when I check with my glucomen meter and the hospital or your DSN is able to monitor you anytime they want to now

Yes, if you start the sensor on a Libre you don't get the continuous glucose monitoring on your phone (if you scan the sensor with your phone afterwards). What you do get are the three numbers that used to be there all the time: the 24-hour time in range, the 24-hour average glucose and the most recent reading.
