It is blummin hard work!Has a bit of a stressful day yesterday - my daughter took step-son to Alton Towers so I had Ava-May. My youngest daughter and her bf came to help so I could cook food etc. I'd spent the morning cleaning, then walked to fetch the baby and then had the day looking after a nearly 5 month old. Even took her to Tesco to give her something different to look at. And now here it comes - I'm too old for long periods of babysitting and the problem is I have it again today. I was in bed at 10, didnt have any tea, hardly ate my lunch and didnt even have a glass of wine.
I guess as it's a one off I have to hold back on how I think my daughter has her priorities wrong especially going back again today. Her poor children will forget who there mother is
My scream today
I ordered a signed cd for hubby, under his instructions for his birthday in October, on 8th August. There was limited supply
Well they took my money and said that the cd would be out in a couple of weeks as they were waiting for stock. So it was supposed to be sent 29th August.
Apparently their postal collection service will only take a couple of bags per day so that then means there is a delay on the item.
I've phoned them, I've emailed them - still nothing
Hubby has been on the forum for the artist and because he doesnt want to get lynched he has posed a very mild mannered question.
I'm annoyed as the **** cd has cost £35 and it still isnt here.

Turn up for my appointment at 5.10 (arrived at 5) told by Godzilla the receptionist in a fake apologetic voice 'sorry there's a 45 minute delay'
So I'm sitting down quietly listening to some bloody auld poop on their classic FM tannoy whilst I try to calm myself down

You're lucky you get Classic FM. The background 'music' (noise) in our surgery is the most awful tinkly, repetitive piano that just goes on and on and on. I'm sure it pushed my blood pressure up.

Won't be going there then.....Scream? I'll give you scream! Flamin' CarpetWrong are winding me up! I ordered a stair carpet:
First the Estimator didn't arrive after we waited all day. "Don't know what happened, to be honest. We'll send him next week."
Then when we paid for the stair carpet, the price had gone up. "Oh the special offer ended" But it wouldn't have - if your man had turned up!!
Then the Fitter didn't turn up. "He went on holiday, to be honest. We'll send him next week".
Then he cancelled, the next week. "He's very busy, because he was away for a week and he's got a backlog".
Then I cancelled the deal. "Oh you can't cancel. It's in our terms and conditions"...
Yep. A complete company-wide scam. When I went in to cancel, the price was back on "special offer", ready to catch the next chump!I think though at the price has gone up stage I would have pulled out
And Trading Standards too?Local newspaper might like the story too....
