It's not just the teenage ones!! You should hear neighbours' kids.. around 5 to just preteen.... Earplugs anyone? But at least rain does have one advantage...they're indoors
 
Family - grrrrrr!!!
Not wanting to seem paranoid but I'm pretty sure my 2 sisters families and my parents have got together today for a family meet up to celebrate my niece's 16th birthday. I'm not sure why I'm the family pariah, and I can't ask as I'm not meant to know about the event.

I did think the word bounty meant, gulp, coconut anything but, coconut

My teenagers tutor, loves Bountys. We bought him a pack of 4 for Christmas !!

I adore them, and coconut ice. I can get away with one but it's hard not to eat both out of the pack. It's the thick chocolate top I like too

Reminds me, in strange sort ow way that Hovis Seeded Sensations has a white version with chia seeds (known for their bs lowering properties ) not had any yet as I already had bread out so my reduced price loaf is in freezer

Different sort of scream this afternoon.....
OK, so I probably shouldn't have been trying to move the (5-seater) sofa by myself, but I certainly wasn't expecting the loud 'pop' from the region of my left shoulder and the lightning-bolt of excruciating pain down my arm when I gave a good heave. Oh, yes - there was screaming!
Three codeines and copious quantities of Voltarol gel later, after an hour scrunched up in the chair with a hot water bottle pressed against my arm, I managed to get the dinner ready as long as I keep my upper arm clamped to my body and only move it from the elbow.
T'internet tells me that it's probably a ruptured biceps tendon, often suffered by athletes and body-builders (sardonic hollow laughter).
I don't know what's the matter with me lately - I seem to be really accident-prone.
Can I get an "Awwwwwww...." ?
