Type 2 Thin skin

I was diagnosed type 2 in 2005. Lately i have found that when i scratch a spot on my arms and even leg. I appear to bleed under rhe skin. Appearing as a bruise. This clears after a a week or so
Is this due to prolonged glucophage uae.
I am using 3 x 500mg xr a day plus 1 diaglucide

Do you get enough vitamin C in your diet? Are you on aspirin therapy? I have used metformin for about 5 years now and do not have this problem. Easy bruising can indicate many different things-I would seek medical advise from my doctor.
 
I have similar but due to steroid medication not medication for diabetes. I also think you would be best asking your doctor no one here can diagnose your problem.
 
Gould also be a lack in vitamin K other than vitamin C .But it is aleays best to have ones Doctor excamined and maybe take blood samples to see if there is any deficiency
